Insert, Add, Remove, tags, collections, content and more in mass.

Content Catalog allows for bulk changes to selected content from the search results.

*Note: Bulk operations from search only require that you have permissions to the content you will be editing, a Company Admin is required to see and use the Manage Tags tab. To do more with Tags see Manage Tags tab in the Company Detail (Gear Icon on left navigation).

With these two areas of capability content catalog makes it easy to organize, standardize information across content in your collections.

Search Results Bulk Operations

Search allows you to use many features like grouping and filters to find a select set of content.

First ensure you are using Detail or Row Display mode in your search configuration. Select Search Configuration to the right of the search field.

Then Select Details or Row under the Display Mode settings.

Next, Select your Collections, search term and any Filters to get your desired search results.

Use the selection boxes on the left to make your selection. The top box in the header location will select all or deselect all. The boxes next to content may be selected individually to select or deselect an item and Shift+Select can be used to select a series of content consecutively

With this selection choose the three dots icon next to the boxes to see options for bulk operations.

Batch Insert allows you to insert all content selected into the application you are connected to in the connections manager at the top right of Content Catalog.

*Note all selected items must be for the same application you are connected to, in order to see this option.

Download will allow for downloading of the content based on the support for that kind of content. Revit content is shown below.

Edit Collections allows you to add or remove collection associations for all selected content.

Edit Tags allows you to add or remove tag associations for content selected.

*Note: Manage Tags option will only be available for Content Catalog Admins.

And Delete allows you to delete the content selected.

Tips

In order to see more content in the results display you can choose "Small" Image Size from the search Configuration as mentioned above. See example below.

You can also use the Row Grouping feature at the top of the results area to group content in a way that aligns with your objectives. Just drag a column header to the top where "Drag here to set row groups" is displayed, as seen below.
