Tags are a way to group content together in Content Catalog using metadata. You can look at tags as a way to contextualize your content in the way people work. Each piece of content can be assigned multiple tags, which makes it easier for users to find content in multiple ways. See Smart Tagging Strategies to get your strategy for saved searches.

In the example below, you’ll see that this Sofa has the tags “Office,” “Modern,” “Floor Hosted,” and more. From here, you can click on a tag to to add it to your filters further narrowing your results. To modify filters see further below in this article.

Tags are included by default in your search configuration settings. Select the slider button to the right of the search field to see your search configuration.

With this setting, what you type in the search is searching on full and partial word matches in tags. You will also see the findings highlighted in your results.

For a more narrowed search, you could first search for sofa and narrow with a filter like the tag Office by clicking on it where you see it in the results.

You can also search for tags when selecting filters as seen below

Once a filter is in use, if you need to add more tags, you can click on the pill that shows below search to add or remove more.
