Saved searches are a great way to share a subset of content that dynamically update when new content is added or updated that meet the criteria of the saved search. See Smart Saved Search Organization to get your strategy for saved searches.

Note: Only ACC Admin can create and edit Saved Searches

Create a Saved Search from an Existing Search

To create a Saved Search, begin by searching and filtering (if needed) to get a set of results you desire to make available for those with permissions to the content in the search results. Saved search will save the Collection selection, Search terms, and Filters. Once you have the desired results, select the Save As button to the bottom right of the search field.

Note: Only ACC Admin can create Saved Searches

Next enter a descriptive name, and create or choose the group that the search will be shown in. You may also choose an icon for visual reference.

From the Saved Search page (Floppy disk icon on the navigation) you will now find your saved search under the grouping you selected.

To use it simply select the tile and search will display with your criteria and search results.

Editing or Deleting a Saved Search

From the saved search page, locate the Saved Search tile you wish to edit and select the pencil icon in the upper right hand corner of the tile. Here you can edit the Name, Group and Icon of the Saved Search.

You can also delete a saved search here by choosing Delete in the bottom left corner. You will be prompted to confirm before deleting. Select Ok to delete.

Editing Saved Search Criteria

While viewing Saved search results, make a change to any of the criteria of the search, you will see the save as button in the top right highlight orange. This indicates you have permission to make or edit saved searches. Select the drop down arrow to see the following options.

  • Save As button - This will allow you to create a new Saved Search.

  • Edit - This will allow you to Edit the appearance information as described above.

  • Overwrite - This will update the current saved search you are viewing.

  • Undo - This will reset the saved search criteria that you modified back to the original saved search you are viewing.
