Customize the way you expand results from a search by grouping column headers

When viewing search results in the Details display mode you may customize the grouping of your results for all display modes. This makes it easier to customize and explore the content based on information that is relevant to you.

Grouping Results by Column

Select the header of a column and drag it to the top left of the results pane where you see “Drag here to set row groups”. This will allow you to group content into a hierarchical structure that is organized based on your preference.

For example, if your search criteria is common to multiple Collections, and Revit categories like “Door Details,” you could be searching for Architectural drafted details or simply detail components for a door detail. By grouping Collection then category your search result lets you easily expand the applicable areas of your results to ensure it is the correct Collection then the correct content category as seen below.

Note: Search configuration must be set to detail view.
